Pallot Steam And Motor Museum
This Museum was founded in 1989 by the late Don Pallot – a man of great vision who spent his early days as a trainee with the Jersey Railways where his enthusiasm for steam was born. His objective was to permanently preserve the Island’s mechanical heritage for generations to come. Managed by Trustees, who are all Don’s sons and daughters, the Museum expanded in 2002 and contains a vast and varied collection of steam locos and engines, road rollers, vintage, commercial, military and classic vehicles, bicycles and toys, tractors, barn engines and agricultural implements, nostalgic photographs – including Jersey Road Races, transport and Jersey Railways history. There is also a collection of organs – including a Compton theatre organ and pipe church organ, paraffin lamps, old radios and numerous items of memorabilia.
