North West Museum of Road Transport
The North West Museum of Road Transport houses a unique and extensive assortment of historic vehicles – representing 10% of the national stock of preserved buses and coaches. It is located in a depot which was built in the 1880s for privately-owned horse trams. The Museum reopened here in 2006 – once it was known as the St Helens Transport Museum but it closed off in the 1990s.
