M Shed
M Shed is located in a 1950s transit shed on Bristol’s wharf. It has been converted into a museum by architect Lab Architecture Studios and includes 3000m2 of permanent and temporary exhibition space across three floors. It was opened in 2011 to explore Bristol’s history using collections and stories donated by local inhabitants. Exhibits include a 1966 Bristol Lodekka Bus, a locally built Bristol car and several motorcycles.
