Bury Transport Museum
Bury Transport Museum is part of the East Lancashire Railway site. It is housed within a Grade II listed ex-railway warehouse that dates from 1848. Restored to its former glory, it now houses a collection of vintage vehicles including buses, steam rollers and trams. Hands-on interactive exhibits explain the development of transport in the Northwest, how the Goods Warehouse was used and the types of materials that would have been handled here.
