Bradford Industrial Museum
Bradford Industrial Museum was opened in 1974 on the site of Moorside Mills, a Victorian mill that was built in the late 19th century. The Museum has permanent displays of textile machinery, steam power, engineering, printing machinery and motor vehicles, along with an exciting exhibitions programme.
Most of the transport gallery is taken up with several examples of cars and light commercial vans built by the Jowett company of Bradford, Scott motor bikes and Baines bicycles.
Jowett was once located close to the Museum so it is no wonder, there are many rare Jowetts including one of only two surviving Jowett Jasons. In addition to cars, there are photographs, design drawings, plans and diagrams relating to Jowett’s.
