Aldershot Military Museum
Part of Hampshire Cultural Trust, the museum tells the story of daily life for both soldiers and civilians since 1854. Housed in a number of old brick-built barrack blocks, this museum has mainly exhibits relating to the area’s military history, plus a local history gallery. The John Reed gallery features displays recreating barrack scenes from the 1890s and the 1950s and a married couple’s living quarters from the 1960s. There are also displays of historical items such as uniforms, medals, weapons and furniture.
